We stayed here in high season but it didn’t feel too busy. We were upgraded to a Ducal suite, which was very nice, however, we felt that it needed refurbishment in some areas. The shower was difficult to adjust in terms of heat as no mixer setting and was leaking, which we did tell them about. There was a lack of plug sockets in the room and the Wi-Fi didn’t work. So, for us more of a 4 star than 5. The location of the hotel is fantastic with lots of bars and restaurants. Breakfast was very good and the service of the staff throughout the hotel was excellent. We would return for a longer stay next time to see more of Zaragoza.

In desperate need for refit and service upgrade. We arrived today at the hotel which they claim is 5*. No porter within sight on arrival so we unloaded the luggage ourselves. Carparking had to be done also by ourselves but was easily arranged. Check in was ok, upon arrival in the room we were a bit taken back. The jr suite room is really old and in need of a proper refresher. Service fittings are very poor. Also just 1 bottle of water and 1 bathrobe - this is a 5* hotel. Then we went to the pool on the 9th floor, really poor and desparate for anproper cleaning and renovation. Many beds are broken and just 2 umbrellas available. For the towels we had to go downstairs at the reception (? - really ?) So this hotel is nowhere the service and fitting of a 5*, for us it is a basic 4* max.

It really didn't feel like a 5-star hotel. We stayed there on a Thursday night at the end of march. It was way too expensive for what the hotel is. It feels old and it might be charming to some, but in the room, the carpet looks old. It was impossible to control the temperature. It was very cold outside but incredibly hot in the room. We had to sleep with the balcony door open and it was super noisy. We almost didn't sleep at all. If it had been a 3-star hotel and we paid half the price, it would have been worth it, but not at over 300 euros for a week night. Also, service wasn't 5-star. The hotel felt empty of employees. There was only 1 or 2 person at the front desk. Didn't see any one else.
