Hotel Palais Mailberger Hof

This is my favorite hotel in Vienna! The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly kind and friendly - I felt genuinely welcomed throughout my stay. The location was perfect, with easy access to public transport and nearby attractions. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was warm and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Vienna!

The staff and location are both excellent. Staff is helpful and friendly. The room is cleaned daily. However, this hotel is extremely expensive for what it offers. The breakfast is not included and you need to pay extra for it. I am not a breakfast person, so I was hoping to have a coffee machine with some coffee or tea in the room, but there was none The room is very basic and less than basic even. There is no mini fridge or coffee machine. I asked for a kettle and the staff provided, then I had to go out buy coffee, tea and sugar which is usually provided by the hotel, especially this ranking of a hotel. The elevator fits one person with a small luggage. The double bed is just two single beds/ mattresses put together, and of course, you fall in between during your sleep. The gym is just a corner in the sauna area and too hot to be used because it isn't well ventilated. The bed sheets, pillow cases, pillows, and mattresses everything has to do with the bed are made of polyester, which made my skin so so so itchy and made electrostatic in my hair. Having polyester bed linen should be a crime. The problem is that this area is popular and hotels get booked so fast so if I found other places I wouldn't really consider this hotel because of the little value for a lot money situation.
