Hotel Panorama Harburg

My room was a double bed but I was there alone so I appreciated the space I had. Bathroom is nice, it has a hot tube. Room has a fridge and enough storage. Bed is a little hard, depends on what you are used to. Breakfast was okay, there is no coffee machine only filtercoffee. It hits the basics. Staff was always nice, very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this place, it’s not the most modern but it’s totally fine.

The room had plenty of space and quite good possibility to get dark with the thick curtains. I expected a big breakfast with many options since the breakfast was described as extra good at booking.com but I was disappointed. It is an ok breakfast which will not leave you hungry but it will feel ordinary rather than something extra. Location wise it is good for visiting Hamburg but if you get here by car it might be better options to choose from since the hotel parking is both expensive and only allow a vehicle height of 2m. We had planned to park there and charge our electric vehicle over night but that was then not possible.

It's an overall nice and cozy hotel, I have nothing really bad to say about the room without nitpicking, it felt a bit crowded with the bed in the middle, you can't turn off the light from bed, you have to use the switch near the door and then walk all the way back to the bed, which is kinda weird to be honest. The service was anemic, we checked out, drove all the way to gate only to find out we need a token / coin in order to get out of the parking lot, no one asked us if we parked there and told us we need to pay abd get the coin, one question as someone leaves: "have a good day, by the way, did you park here?" Other than that, it's ok, and the bakery right across the street is amazing.
