I'm glad I trusted my instincts and booked this hotel. While searching for a peaceful stay away from the hustle and bustle of Venice, many of my friends recommended Lido Island. I came across some more affordable options, but the location of Panorama ultimately won me over—and I couldn't be happier with my choice. The hotel is perfectly positioned just outside the Water bus-stop, so much so that a zebra crossing leads directly to its entrance. The staff deserves a 10/10 for their hospitality, taking great care of us and patiently overcoming any language barriers. Thankfully, everyone at the hotel speaks English, which made our stay much smoother. Breakfast was fantastic, and as a fan of Italian biscuits, I may have been responsible for emptying the biscuit bowl each morning—sorry about that! We were given a spacious dorm room on the top floor, comfortably accommodating the four of us. A raised platform in the room led to a window offering breathtaking views of Venice's center, including Doge’s Palace and the Bell Tower. One morning, when weather was clear, we get to see the Dolomite mountains from our window which created mesmerizing back drop to Venice While the bathroom was a bit compact due to the sloped roof, the Jacuzzi bathtub more than made up for it. My daughter also loved the sweets at the reception, and I apologize if she took more than her fair share! Overall, if I ever return to Venice, Panorama will definitely be my first choice
Lido is beautiful. The hotel staff is very gracious, and the accommodations were spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The views of Venice from the hotel were gorgeous. Great location.
We first stayed here on our honeymoon and it has since been a regular favorite of ours. The staff are wonderful and friendly, and the hotel is absolutely gorgeous and in a prime location. The breakfast with a beautiful view is also one of the best we've had in all of our European travel. Out of all the reservations for hotels in italy, this is the one we get the most excited for!
