One of the better hotels in the downtown area, conveniently located just a few steps from the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and plenty of good restaurants. Only real complaint is the very firm mattresses, otherwise I would have given them 5-stars. PROS: - great location for downtown - professional concierge service available 24/7 - upscale building & sophisticated decor - well maintained & clean facilities - nice rooms & bathrooms - shuttle service available for a fee - additional services available on request (accommodating) CONS - very firm mattresses Overall, one of our more favorite hotel experiences in Italy!
Very bad experience — avoid this hotel. We booked 2 separate rooms for 3 people, but when we arrived, they gave us only 1 room for all of us. Total chaos from the first day. Instead of fixing the issue quickly, we had to deal with 4 days of stress and arguments with the staff. The management was rude, unprofessional, and constantly bothering us, acting like we were the problem even though they messed up the booking. No apology, no real solution — just attitude. For a hotel in such a central location, we expected decent service and basic respect. This place completely failed. Definitely not worth the money or the headache. Look elsewhere.
I am staying 3 nights and I would definitely NOT recommend it. My room was facing the alley and super loud. So I asked to change rooms, they said they can’t tonight, but maybe tomorrow to a smaller room. I said that’s fine. I had neighbor all night was coughing up a storm. I didn't sleep at all hearing every noise from another room including snoring and other… disturbing noises. Because the walls are so thin. So I asked the next morning to change rooms again they said they will try and will give me a call me. I called later and they said not possible they are fully booked. It hurt me so much to see that there was availability on the website! When I called back and asked why when there are rooms available. And lady in the phone this time named Letizia said there are available rooms tonight but not the day after. I said ok just move me for tonight. She said you’re crazy! She said she can’t just move me for one night and proceed to say that’s crazy. We asked for manager several times and she said that’s not possible. When I asked them if I can book a different hotel and get a refund they still said no refund. I travel a lot and that was the worst service I have ever received. I have stayed in hostels and never had this bad of service. And I am an avid camper so I don’t expect luxury. What disappointed me the most was Letizia yelled at me on the phone and hung up on me, when simply they had rooms available.
