Hotel Papa Whale Kaohsiung Formosa Boulevard

A business hotel, mid level price comparing to its quality and cleanness. No breakfast offer but some snacks and beverages offer at the share space. fine for short term stay. In case, if you want to have a better quality at equivalent price level, this is not the only option nearby.

3 Nights May 2025 The hotel has a pretty good location fairly easy to get around. The room type we were in was pretty spacious and clean. The only negative was that I found the cleaning products used were heavily scented and gave me allergy issues unfortunately.

I had stay in papa whale in Taipei and I love the style, room and staff. But here is opposite in everything. Room is bigger than I expect but cleanliness is worst. Dust in curtain, smelly towel, dry used contact lens from unchecked cleanliness from housemaid. I did not want to make the big thing cause I know it high season and I sleep here only 1 night and move to another hotel. 2stars I give for reception cause he did best to smile and warm creating with me. But he did not mention facilities at B1 that he should do. But I found is by accident.
