Hotel Paradiso

I want to say a big thank you to Philippe, Ransi and all the staff of the hotel. My family visited Sri Lanka for the first time and we stayed at this wonderful hotel. We were delighted! The hotel is located on a small mountain, near the jungle, near Jungle Beach. Wonderful, spacious rooms, delicious breakfasts with fresh fruits every day, picturesque hotel grounds, excellent pool. And most importantly, the attitude towards the guests! Caring and kind people work at this hotel, who will always be happy to help you with any question. We really appreciate your hospitality and thank you for our wonderful stay in Sri Lanka. I definitely recommend this hotel, it has such a bright and kind atmosphere, we are delighted! The rooms are spacious, very well equipped, with a large balcony. Very clean. A very large swimming pool and a magnificent garden. The hosts are very attentive and make us feel comfortable. I highly recommend.

Never book a room at this hotel! The owner is a dishonest liar! You may encounter the same problems as we did, and in the end your holiday will be ruined just like ours! We booked a room in this hotel in advance, 5 months before the trip, and it took us a long time to choose a hotel, and we booked a room with two separate rooms, since it was very important for us (the three of us were traveling, me, my wife, and my friend). The day before we arrived at the hotel l contacted the owner Philip and asked him about an earlier check-in, and the owner did not say anything that we would not be able to check into our room! I just said that we could arrive earlier. As a result, upon arrival, he told us that he only had one room for us, at different room for two nights in the first floor, not the one we booked. It was a terrible, damp, dark room on the first floor, with three beds, and of course there was no talk of any two separate rooms. We ended up spending the whole day until the evening finding another place to stay! We just lost a whole day due to the dishonesty of the hotel and the owner! Don't repeat our mistakes, it's better to look for another hotel right away.
