Hotel Park

One of the best hotels ever stayed in Austria. Travelled with Crystal Holiday as ski package. Welcome was lovely and very speedy. Rooms were comfortable and quiet. 5 mins walk to ski lift and 2mins to hire shop. In the town 10 mins to bars and restaurants and shops. I was made to feel my food intolerance was not a problem to them at all. All dishes could be altered by the chef and I was also given alternatives. Great staff and lovely vibe. Can't wait to return. Only point missing was water not provided with afternoon soup , especially when thirsty from days ski.

We stayed at the Hotel Park for a week in August and we couldn't have had a better time. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent, with a buffet breakfast and a four course meal in the evening. During breakfast, we were able to use the food to make packed lunches during the day, which was very helpful when we were hiking in the stunning hills around St Johann. The hotel is very well located, within 10 mins of the centre of town and the train station and less than five minutes to the cable car station. There's lots of information available about things to do in the local area, either from the staff or at the front of the hotel. The hotel also gave us a guest card when we arrived, which gave us free local travel on trains and buses, as well free entry to the local swimming pool. It made a huge difference to our holiday as it was so easy to get around the region.

Just back from a week's sking in St.Johann. We stayed at the Park hotel where the food,the staff and the rooms were wonderful. No hesitation in returning hopefully next year....
