The best (for me) hotel in Romania! We are from Greece. We had come with our school. We came from March 13-16. It was a very functional and modern hotel. We had stayed in a double room with a view of the church opposite. As soon as we entered we were confused because we didn't know how to close the door. Finally we understood that we had to close it and we managed. In the bathroom there was a very large mirror with a tap that next to it had care products and a hairdryer. We had a bathtub and not a shower. We also found towels in the bathroom. There was also a paper there that said something in Romanian and I think it was about cleanliness or safety. The bed was very soft and the pillows were very soft. Opposite and next to the bed was an armchair that we didn't sit there because we had left our things. It also had a TV that we could watch news from Greece on YouTube. The bedside table had a light and a plug above it. There were also two glasses on the table for us to drink something. It also had the menu from the restaurant and another plug. In the wardrobe there was a safe that we of course used. The room was very clean. The breakfast was European and had a cherry brandy that I drank all the time. The hotel is located opposite the largest church in Romania (maybe in the world) and close (not even 5 minutes) from the People's Palace. The hotel is 1.5 km away from the center. We came with L.A. travel and we had a great time!
Stayed here June 2025 for two nights and it was a very comfortable stay. The rooms are very spacious, however there isn't a kettle, or an iron available in the room and there were no face tissues in the room either. No complimentary water is provided (they charge 1.50 EUR). Complimentary water is rather common in a 4 star hotel. Based on all of the above, I wouldn't agree that this is a 4 star hotel, maybe a 3 star boutique hotel. The bed and pillows were clean and very comfy. Breakfast was rather limited for vegetarians/ vegans but everything was fresh and the waiters were very helpful. I didn't have any issues with the male receptionist when checking in, but I didn't have much interaction with the front desk during my stay.
Very rude front desk. The rooms were not ready at the check in time. Had to wait for an hour. No bathrobe, no water bottle included (had to pay 1.50 euros for a small water bottle), no coffee, tea or kettle in the room. But nothing was more unpleasant and uncomfortable than the person at the reception on the 9th of May morning -afternoon shift.
