Hotel Parque 97

First trip ever to the city of Bogotá. We stayed at another hotel & we wished we would have stayed here from the beginning. The hotel is well situated, rooms are really big & recently remodeled, very clean. The service was excellent. We got the breakfast included and it was excellent.

I agree with other reviews that Hotel Parque 97 is not suitable for tourists. Do not expect enjoying a 4 star hotel because it does not reach that level. 1. The payment terminal did not allow me to choose currency, therefore, I had a surcharge of about 25%. Redeban informed me it was the setting of the hotel. 2. The manager, Edna Angarita violated my right to privacy, freedom of movement, and health. My check out date was 28th of march, 2025 and she demanded payment of balance one day before. Note that my stay was a long term booking and balance due was only about 15% of the bill. As I didnt want to be over charged with excessive point of payment fees, I had to wait a day for another form of payment. She didnt allow the extra day and blocked my access to the room, to my medication, to my passport, and all personal items and business travel tools. 3. Hotel description says "24-hour business centre". This is not true - there is a tiny room on the eighth floor with 2 desks and two tables. No computers, no printers, no scanner, no paper. 4. The "gym" is another scaled-down location with no proper ventilation and bare gym equipment. 5. There is only one restaurant. The staff is vert kind, yet the service schedule ends at 10:00 pm which I find to be too early, especially because room service ends at 9.45 pm and there are limited dining options within walking distance. 6. Weak wifi service. It is a shame how has service has deteriorated at Hotel Parque.

Not suitable for tourists. No doorman at the hotel. Security is bad. Someone snatched my iPhone while getting into the uber. Camera and policeman are useless. On the first day someone checked my backpack to steal. In room coffee missing. Toilet flush didn’t work. My vacation got ruined as it was my first trip. Never again!
