I cannot say enough good things about the staff at the Hotel. On Saturday the 31st May a friend and I had been travelling for some time. Aside for the train journey we had also walked ten miles in the searing heat. At 14:40pm before we walked back over the bridge to catch our train we decided to see if we can get a couple of beers take away. The young lady on reception explained that the bar and restaurant was not yet open but she would ask the bar woman. The person behind the bar could not be more friendly. She could see how exhausted we were and allowed us to buy some beers, and although not yet open she even offered for us to drink them in the bar. Also the price was unbelievable…. 15euros for 4 big bottles of beer. Great value and great service. Thank you so much.

This is a plain little hotel on a busy road across from a casino – hardly an ideal location. The rooms are plain but functional. But the staff was very helpful, it was easy to walk to the charming city centre, and the price was right for a group of friends on cross country bicycle ride.
