Hotel Pension Winzerhaus

Stayed for one night while doing the Rhine cycle route. The owner goes out his way to assist you. My bike was locked in his garage overnight. Room was spacious and comfortable. Normal buffet breakfast with plenty of choice. It’s approx a 5 mins walk into town which is stunning. Enjoyed my stay!!

I never EVER write reviews, it's just not my thing. However, my stay and experience here was so memorable, I couldn't resist. I backpacked through Europe back in 2015 and stayed here during my trip to the Rhine. Sybille and Stefan were very hospitable and both a treat to visit with. I heard about this place through Rick Steves' "Best of Europe" book. The room was very clean and quiet. Not to mention the breakfast was good all 3 days while I was there. In addition, I had to order some train reservations last minute before I left the states and wouldn't be home to receive them. I emailed Sybille to see if I could send them to her; she didn't hesitate to help. Not only did she email me when they arrived, but 25 days later when I arrived, the first thing she handed me were my train tickets! I will definitely be staying here on my next trip! I highly HIGHLY recommend staying here above anywhere else along this section of the Rhine!!

15 minute slightly uphill walk from train station, ( you could get a taxi), comfortable room/bed. Owner/operator very pleasant and welcoming, balcony unit nice and relaxing.lots of short/ long walks close by. Bike rental 15 minute walk from Winzerhaas.
