Hotel Penzance Harbour View

we were booked in last minute last night and were welcomed with such kindness and efficiency. The staff went above and beyond. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our room had a beautiful sea view, breakfast was delicious, and our daughter absolutely loved the heated pool – it was a real highlight. Thank you for making our quick getaway so special!

Amazing hotel in a lovely location, near to bus and railway station. Spacious, spotless, airy bedroom and bathroom, with everything you need and a nice pot of goodies. Very peaceful at night. Tasty breakfast, loads of choice and the evening food, is the best that I've tasted. Never knew that Newlyn Pollack could be so delicious. As for the staff, everyone that I met, was helpful, friendly, informative and took care of all the guests, going beyond the call of duty. Booked to return in June, as the hotel is so relaxing and I look forward to swimming in the pool, in warmer weather.

4 Star hotel you’re kidding right ? Save your money !!At best I’d rate it 3 star and that’s only because of the sea view. I paid for a superior double, which was a lovely room , but bathroom fan didn’t work and despite a repair man coming next morning didn’t work throughout stay. No apologies!, The dead fly was on the bathroom floor during my 3 night stay , which shows how well they clean NOT! The lovely arm chair cover could’ve done with a good wash! I used a spare bath towel to sit on as it was stained. I had booked in for dinner for the 3 nights , but the fish and chips were greasy batter and spot the white fish? I promptly cancelled the next 2 night dinner and ended up going to the nearby Sainsbury’s for food to eat. The choice on the menu was so poor, and steak and lamb had an £18.95 supplement! I’m afraid breakfast wasn’t great either. The hotel is in a good location but needs a lot of money spending on it. Double glazing was blown in several of the dining room windows, others were rotten and whole place looked as if it needed a good clean! I’ve since gone back and looked at reviews and somehow they’re managing to put the good ones at the top, any criticism is lower down, just wish I’d looked more carefully as at £220 plus a night it’s a Rip Off !! When I compare to the other 3 hotels I stayed in on my trip this was no comparison doesn’t even come close! No wonder they don’t send you a link to rate your stay, just a sentence thanking you for staying.
