Hotel Peterhof

We truly enjoyed our stay at "Hotel Peterhof". The apartment we stayed at was exceptionally clean, cozy, well-equipped, and had a comfortable bed. The gentleman from the night-shift at the reception was so kind and assisted us with our luggage, without us asking (night-shift of 30.12.2024): He carried a lot of our bags from the hotel reception to our booked apartment which is located around the corner; 1-min.-walk. He also spoke very well English and provided extra support with anything we needed at our arrival. If you are considering booking an apartment at "Hotel Peterhof", please be aware that there is no elevator in the building. This may be the only downside in case you have a lot of luggage/ big suitcases/ if you have any disability. However, we believe that the kind team from the reception would be more than happy to help out. Location: Very nice location, with one of the main shopping streets close-by, reachable via foot (supermarkets, shops, restaurants, gym which offers daily guest passes for tourists). Parking: We truly appreciated that there was a parking space available in the garage. Breakfast: We loved the breakfast, offering plenty of healthy options (muesli/oats-station with nuts, seeds, fruits, etc.), fresh vegetables, eggs, milk foamer, and a press for freshly-squeezed orange juice, alternative milks, etc.

We we're very satisfied with the service and our rooms. We stayed there before leaving towards Italy. We liked it so much, we came back on our way home. Dog friendly hotel, and our corgi Mac was also treated very well.

Based at the city centre, Kempten, this hotel offers a comfortable stay to the travellers. The reception area is very well decorated followed by a bar and then the restaurant and a garden. The rooms are small but neat and clean. There was no AC in the room, but since I travelled in December, it was not a problem, but during the summer, one may have to face little weather challenges. The washroom is extremely small and since there was poor drainage of water from the latrine area, there is a chance of water spillage to the floor of the room. However, there is a basin inside the room which can be used for mouth wash or shaving. There are big windows with the rooms where one can have fresh cold air, but at times the same can be a source of noise as well. There is a mini bar with the room and the items are complementary. They generally clean the room in every 2 days, but even after two days my room was joy Clean and on being informed about this in the evening, they have shared the absence of the house keeping staff. After a lot of request I could get the essential staff for the room and washroom which is really disappointing! The restaurant at the ground floor serves buffet breakfast where one can some food a of their choice but of Course the variety of food items should be increased specially with the vegetarian options. The reception is open till 10:30 am in the night and post that if someone needs to enter or exit he or she needs to use the other door towards the garden door by himself or herself. I have left my keys in the reception and came back at 10:45 pm and faced severe problem regarding accessing my room in the night since there was no one to hive my keys and there was no information or call as well. Only after calling the emergency number, I could manage my keys, so if you are at this hotel, be very careful about this keys here! Also, the receptionists are not comfortable with English, so faced a lot of problem in communicating the requests. This is also a difficult part for the international travellers!
