Hotel Pfeifer Domig GmbH

I stayed for a week at Hotel Pfeifer in January 2025. There was a lot of choice in terms of hotels in the area but we were delighted we choose this one as soon as we arrived. The accommodation was spacious, stylish, clean and the attention to small details throughout the hotel was evident at every turn. This family owned business take pride in the care they give their customers and nothing was ever too hard for Nicole and Nadine to accomodate. The breakfasts were delicious, abundant and kept us going all day. The dinners were superb. The shuttle bus to the ski lifts were immediate on demand, there and back. The wellness centre was beyond our belief. The warm outdoor pool, sauna, daybeds, Turkish bath, infrared back Physio! Insane. The cosy bar at the end of the evening served every cocktail and drink I have ever known. I did test them! Although not expected, the staff spoke English which made it just a little easier for us. This stay was a 10/10 for us and we will be back.

A very nice hotel within a walking distance (around 10 minutes) of ski lifts. The hotel also runs a free shuttle bus to the ski lifts. Breakfast is plentiful, dinners are excellent. There is an extensive collection of schnapps and brandies to sample. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean, the Internet is fast. The outdoor swimming pool is on a smaller size and can get crowded when a lot of hotel guests decide to relax there at the same time.

Let's start with the good things first. The breakfast is nice and the initial room we booked was how we expected. However... They gave us a different room which we paid for, which was much smaller and a completely different room as was initially booked. Furthermore the heating could not be turned off, meaning the sauna was in a different room as expected. After discussion we got our initial room (which was unexpectedly free..), but made us feel as the complaining customer.
