Hotel Pichlmayrgut

This was my second stay at Pichlmayrgut, and it once again did not disappoint. This time, we came for skiing and relaxation as my partner and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary. First, the reviews about the run down facilities and need for renovation seem greatly exaggerated, albeit, do have a slight bit of truth to them. Certain “showings of age” do exist, but at no point did it really diminish the experience. It’s a very old hotel, it’s part of the charm. Second, the food and service were absolutely incredible. The staff (specifically: Lorenzo, Constantinos, and Juan) were fantastic and always made sure we had what we needed. Ingredients were fresh tasting, and breakfast left little to be desired. Third, the sauna and swimming areas were fully operational, however it was a bit disappointing to see the aroma bath still out of operation and the steam room not seeming to run so well. Lastly, we really appreciated the dedicated shuttle service to the ski lift, which made our lives much easier, as we did not have to drive ourselves to the ski area. I can definitely recommend a relaxing stay at Pichlmayrgut to anyone who is thinking about booking.

Location isnperfect, facing the mountains on the other side. Rooms could be better (toilette). Staff are helpful and friendly (Luka at reception desk is awesome). Buildings are traditional austrian with wooden fasade. Breakfast in the main restaurant are with plenty choices. Overall great experience! Thank You Hotel Pichlmayrgut. Ante

Old fashion hotel with tradition. I like architecture and Alpen spirit which can be found everywhere. Enough parking, underground garage, electrical chargers for EV cars...they have everything. Service was excellent, employees friendly and helpfull. Room was very clean and cousy. Wellnes area offers everything you need, good jacuzzi pool, outside and inside pool, saunas...i cannot find any objection to this facility...food was delicious too but the same style everyday. Hotel shuttle was available on demand for transportation to skiing tracs. Overall I liked whole package and will return in summer.
