Hotel Pineta Wellness & Spa

The room nearby the pool was excellent. The rolling door of the shower is a nice touch . totally quiet , had some glorious relaxing night sleeps. Breakfast was a bit weak though. Overall a great stay.

The experience at this hotel was ok, but not great. Let me explain… one day the family decided to have lunch by the pool. It took a lot of back and forward by the pool attendant as everything that we wanted was not available. How can a 4* hotel be out of canned tuna. They even told us that they were out of tramezzini…so we eventually had to settle on whatever was left over. Our room were by the pool, which meant that WiFi was not existent. On a Sunday night, our family wanted to dine at the hotel, but we were told that the restaurant was closed. How can you have guests and no restaurant open at a 4 star hotel? We then asked for a local recommendation and the front desk person told us the names of 3 restaurant and when I asked for their phone number, was told to google it. Eventually after pushing them they actually provided the phone number, but when we eventually got there there was a sign saying…see you in September! A lot of excuses by the front desk, and when eventually I asked to speak to the general manager to provide my feedback, I was told by the front desk person that she was too busy as they were having a party that evening..but that they would reach out to me to address my concerns. Well nonetheless no one contacted me. Overall hotel has potential, but they need staff that actually smiles, is welcoming and provide customers with a good experience.

Really can't work this place out. Staff are very nice and rooms clean. Pool is nice with lots of seating. However....plastic bowls and cups for breakfast - this is a 4* hotel, not a primary school. No shower protection so bath is the only option if you are to avoid a flood. Breakfast was not great. Melon was crunchy and selection limited. When at bar in the evening wanted beer so was offered Heineken or a German beer - was hoping for something local. Plus car park is full of rubbish and broken glass. Had to ask for more loo roll in room as cleaners had not replaced what was left. The toilet and shower are also in the same room - not ideal when you are a family of 4. Attention to detail is lacking so not somewhere I would stay again or recommend.
