We arrived at 9:30am after a 14 hour bus ride and went to see if we could drop of our luggage. We were delighted when the gentleman at the front desk said that we could check-in immediately. A hot shower was very welcome. The rooms are large, clean with a comfortable bed and quiet, we were on the back of the building. This is rated as a 3 star hotel and is moderately priced. The breakfast buffet was of a high standard, and the staff working the room did an excellent job of replenishing the food items. They especially ensured that the food area was kept spotlessly clean. We had a very enjoyable 6 nights.
We were extremely happy with our stay at Hotel Piren! The staff were very helpful in getting our excursions to Peninsula Valdés and Punta Tombo set up, and the room was very clean with comfortable beds and a beautiful view of the ocean. We also enjoyed getting massages from Fabiana at the hotel spa--a wonderful experience all around!
We spend three nights at this hotel in mid December. We stayed in a senior room with city view (50k pesos for 3 nights with breakfast when booked via their website). Overall our stay was pleasant, room was large, clean and well equipped. Hotel is well located next to the beach. There are many staff employed at the hotel, which is a bit outdated and was mostly empty during our stay.
