Hotel Pisa Tower Plaza

Door to the porch is a bit hard to open, AC unit's control is unreadable... But it works. Some other minor stuff. The hotel could benefit from some maintenance. But all the important things are working. Hot water in the shower, rooms and toilet is clean, beds are nice. The pool has a bar next to it for refreshments. Good for when you return from a day of sightseeing, or just want a day of sunbathing. Reasonable prices at the restaurant and the bars. The hotel is not in tip top shape, but i think it's good value for money. The leaning tower is a 15 minute walk. Can see it from the lobby.

Excellent service in the hotel reception. Large rooms with a kingsize bed and sleeping sofa for the kids. Large fridge. Calm and cozy atmosphere and placement. A bit difficult to visit nearby supermarkets by foot. Read some reviews on beforehand about dirty rooms and bathroom facilities. We had the opposite experience. Clean rooms and bathrooms.

My AC was dripping water, so I called to ask the hotel to fix it, they told me that they’ll have people coming in to check. Nobody came after 40 minutes and i noticed that my AC was off, so I called again. I told him that nobody came, and they told me that they’ll send somebody again to give me some towels for the dripping water and that they turn the AC on. Nobody came. On top of that, the rooms did not have any kettle or bottled water. So we were dying of thirst the whole night. Additionally, they will not allow cup noodles to be eaten at the breakfast area, where there is hot water. Lastly, there were no still water and only sparkling water. Or if there was, it was not labeled. This hotel has been very disappointing. It is a three star at best.
