Hotel Playa Sol

We booked the 2-bedroom family suite facing the sea for five nights, 2 adults and one small child. Everything was exceptional, comfortable beds, clean, quiet and great customer service and housekeeping. Pool is stunning and calm. The breakfast buffet was delicious and staff very attentive. Will definitely be coming back in years to come! My one suggestion is there’s no coffee in the room so that addition would be a very welcome touch :)

What a gorgeous hotel!!! Lovely rooms, very friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast, perfect location right across from a beach sheltered from the wind. Only tiny thing that annoyed us (very very slightly) was the parking lot 😂 I’m a confident driver but it took me half an hour to get into the bay due to the position of the columns hahaha if you aren’t planning on exploring around the area by car then this definitely won’t be a problem for you! Would I stay again? ABSOLUTELY!!! Dreaming of going back.

We stayed for 5 nights and had a lovely time in many ways. The rooms are beautifully designed, the breakfast is delicious with fresh fruit juice, and the staff at both the bar and reception are very friendly. The hotel also offers a private parking garage, which is very convenient, and the location is truly ideal. That said, we did feel that the hotel is not particularly child-friendly, especially around the pool area. Children are not allowed to jump in, and even quiet splashing in the water was not really appreciated. On our fourth day, our 3-year-old had a short tantrum. My husband quickly brought him back to the room, but the owner still approached me to ask what was wrong and mentioned that we were disturbing other guests. From that point on, we no longer felt entirely comfortable. I tried to have a constructive conversation afterward, but unfortunately, it wasn’t well received. In our view, the hotel could benefit from clearer communication around expectations for children and a more open approach to guest feedback. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for couples or adults seeking a peaceful stay — but perhaps less so for families with young children.
