Hotel Ploes

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at Ploes. Excellent staff and exceptional service. The included breakfast was delicious and had plenty to choose from. We had the loft and the kids shared a room below. Beautiful views of Little Venice. Private swim platform to do some swimming or just enjoy a cocktail. I definitely recommend.

6/5, a true gem. Excellent service from the lovely staff that even dove into the ocean to retrieve our keys. Shoutout to Konstantinos in the reception for his excellent tips and help. The private platform to take a dip in the sea is small but wonderful. Breakfast is some of the best we've ever had. Highly recommended if you can manage to secure a room, it's well worth it for this premium experience.

We weren’t guests of the specific hotel but unfortunately an unpleasant and distressing incident happened regarding this hotel. We were a group of two and we were walking at the streets of Ermoupoli in the night and later we sat at some stairs in a small road under the hotel. While we were discussing and enjoying the view of the sea, suddenly we felt a large amount of water dropping on us. A waiter of the roof garden of the hotel had just dropped the water of the glasses of the guests out of the roof, making us wet. Of course it was an accident and it didn’t happen on purpose but the response of the management of the hotel it was shameful and disgusting. We explained them what had just happened but they only thing they were caring about was to conceal their mistake and protect the waiter and not admitting the mistake. They didn’t apologize and the manager was rude. Their behavior after was much worse than the incident itself and isn’t fit for a 5star hotel. Shameful.
