Hotel Politeama

The staff at the front desk were consistently delightful and very helpful! Always ready to assist with any questions or issues. Location cannot be beat - the airport bus drops you off almost right at the door! The rooms were very clean and well stocked with toiletries and amenities. Breakfast was well done - the servers seem a little harried but were very attentive. Overall, a great place to stay while in Palermo, will be recommending it to friends and family.

In an excellent location and very friendly service! We were extremely satisfied with our stay here - the balcony was nice and spacious and we had a gorgeous view of the piazza outside the hotel. The rooms were a little outdated but nothing that would lead us not to rebook. What really made this hotel amazing was the rooftop bar - amazing service and even better atmosphere. I would highly recommend staying here!

Great service, and the front staff is kind and friendly, which is wonderful. The room was spacious enough for a night’s stay and the bathroom was clean. The air conditioning worked well, the bedding was comfortable and the curtains blocked out most of the light. We did however notice that there were silverfish under the curtains, and that the tiles near the bottom of the wall kept falling off, which indicates that it is not being maintained properly. Do note that this hotel would not be a good choice if you have accessibility issues, as the bathroom is small and the room cannot fit a wheelchair if needed (I don’t think they’re claiming to be accessibility friendly though). I would recommend it for a night’s stay, but otherwise, I would not consider this place as a good price-value.
