Had a nice stay, felt room were little less spacious but that was not causing any issues,Full of amenities. Food they serve in breakfast buffet or in dinner is really good. Staff is very friendly, very professional. Location is somewhere in middle of the city, so if you are coming during peak hours, you might get stuck in traffic. But yeah overall nice experience and had an amazing stay.
I recently spent three nights at the Polo Towers with my family, and it was an incredible experience. The hotel offered a range of amenities, including excellent massage services with various options and top-notch spa facilities. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the food was truly amazing. However, I do want to mention that there wasn't a swimming pool available at this property, which might be a consideration for some guests (though I noted that their Agartala property does have one). Despite this, my overall experience was fantastic, and I would highly recommend Polo Towers for its warm hospitality and excellent services."
We chose Hotel Polo Towers, Shillong to celebrate our marriage anniversary, hoping for a special and memorable experience. Sadly, it turned out to be the worst decision. We had booked a specific room online, but at check-in, we were given a completely different room. When we asked, the reception staff argued instead of helping. They rudely insisted, “You booked this only,” without checking anything properly. No apology, no concern — just arrogance. There was no mineral water bottle in the room either. When we asked for it, they said it’s “only on request,” and still took over 40 minutes to provide it. This is basic hospitality — even that was missing. To make it worse, we had ordered a small cake to celebrate, and shockingly, the hotel staff rang our room bell at 1:00 AM — just to collect payment for the cake! We were asleep, and this kind of thoughtless behavior on such a special day was just beyond words. No coordination, no courtesy, no respect for guests' privacy or rest.
