I was visiting Pontal de Ubu during my business trip. The hotel location is beautiful, the view from the room is amazing on Ubu bay from any side. The facility in the hotel are good and enough for a everyone including big family with children. It has play ground, beach access, restaurants and bars. I enjoy the stay. The only one negative thing I faced is many many small ants everywhere. They are around your table and in the bed too. If you leave anything on the table (food) in couple of hours ants will find it. Try local oysters, they really has special and delicious taste.

Just came back after a year and my previous review is still accurate. Here is my previous review: The hotel has two great advantages over others around here. First the view, the location and the construction are great, and second the service is above average here. The staff is really friendly, always working to help you, they make you feel at home, for instance they let me get my own beverage at the freezer and I myself wrote on to the paper how much I had consumed at the end, trusting my word. It definitely makes you feel at HOME, you just reach out to the bar and help yourself (if you want they are there for you). Juarez, the maneger, can't make enough to welcome you, he's great. Definitely a five stars. With everything at the end you don't even realize the little downs of the hotel. It's definitely a MUST GO!!!

The hotel is amazing. Beautiful in every way. Downside, food from the restaurant was ridiculous. Super overpriced with zero quality. Filet mignon cam burned, no sauce accompanied by cold fries and nothing else. Also, no elevador to our room. To pay 650 reais for 1 night and have to drag two 23kg bags up and down stairs is the most ridiculous thing I've seen. Breakfast is in a beautiful place but very little options and the hot plates were all cold. We ended up drinking the coffee and eating fruit. The view and ambience is great though.
