Hotel Porta Cervino

Enjoyed our 1 night stay at the hotel. Bed super comfortable, linens and towels clean, spectacular rain shower. Front desk staff was efficient & polite. We also used their taxi service to Zermatt with a lovely chauffeur. Improvement needed in the breakfast options perhaps. Walking distance to the station which was super handy for us.

Our reservation was moved from Matterhorn Inn to this hotel due to renovations. We were so pleased with the service and location of this hotel! It is a newer hotel so everything feels so fresh and clean. The bar downstairs was beautiful and was such a great place to grab coffee in the morning! Quick walk to the train station to get into Zermatt too. Highly recommend!

WORST EVER CUSTOMER SERVICE ATTITUDE !!!!!!!!! I’ve had the worst ever customer service experience in this hotel. The staff at the hotel blames the customer for hotel mistake. The staff attitude is the worst I’ve ever seen. No ANY sense of solving problems but just blame the customer. A few issues we had - when we checked in, the staff said breakfast is available and included but after we eat, they told us we haven’t paid. When we said the front desk told us it’s included, they just keep repeating that you have to pay. So we have to pay for their mistakes. - none of the US credit card doesn’t work because of their POS machine, but they blame the customer’s card doesn’t work - They force you to write down your credit card information when check in and refused to destroy it when we checkout. I’ve never heard of this in any places in Swiss or other countries. I would NOT recommend anyone staying with them. hotel room is mid, location in Täsch is really bad as there’s nothing to do here. Customer service is the worst of the worst.
