Hotel Portici Romantik & Wellness

Our experience at Hotel Portici was perfect! It really is the best hotel in Riva del Garda! It is just steps from the city center. We enjoyed being able to walk out of the hotel and be right there close to shops and restaurants and of course Lake Garda! The rooms were very big and had plenty of room for putting clothes and suitcases. We also loved the wellness spa! My husband and I loved the saunas, steam room, hot tub, and salt room. It was a perfect way to unwind after we arrived. Parking was also perfect. We received a pass to park right in front to unload our suitcases and then given instructions where to park our car in the garage. The garage is about a block walk and can reach it underground. You really do not even need to unload in front of the hotel because parking is so close. The front desk staff was so warm and welcoming! We would definitely stay here again and also have dinner at Al Volt again!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Portici. The room was big and clean, good selection of food at breakfast and very polite staff. The location is perfect, a few yards from Lake Garda and very close to the many bars and restaurants. 5 mins walk to ferry and bus station too. Just right!

Stayed for 2 nights early July. Pros: excellent location and very good private parking. Cons: At the breakfast there was a wild bird inside. When confronted the staff just acted as it was normal and did nothing. Rooms are not that clean. Service just OK. Overall would try to get another hotel if available.
