Hotel Portillo Dolomites 1966'

Portillo Dolomites 1966'S was one amazing experience and we are super-happy that we chose for our ski trip in 2025. Hotel overall looks very nice and clean, has an amazing bar and lounge (we enjoyed it with free welcome drink we've received on our arrival - such a nice touch). Staff was also very nice and helpful. Room was big and very comfortable (we slept very peacefully each night), always super clean and containing all we need. Breakfast was amazing with lots of choices to start the day. Spa area is huge and amazing for well deserved rest after full day of skiing... There is also a free shuttle that took us to the slopes each morning and we were able to come back to hotel on skies (it's basically a ski-in hotel and the path to it is very simple to understand and even beginner friendly). Overall experience was truly awesome and we're sure that we'll come back when we visit Val Gardena again. ❤️

The Portillo is a very good hotel. Lovely pools, spa, wellness and gardens. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The provision of gluten free goodies at breakfast was much appreciated.

We stayed at this hotel for our very first ski holiday with a large group, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The hotel offers a warm, cozy, and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms and the fantastic spa area are spotlessly clean and exceptionally well-maintained. After a long day on the slopes, the spa was pure bliss—a perfect place to relax and recharge. In the evenings, the bar area became our favorite cozy spot for games and laughter. The staff’s attentiveness and genuine friendliness made our stay even more special. We couldn’t have asked for a better place for our ski holiday! P.S.: The hotel is extremely warm indoors—a slight lowering of the temperature by two degrees would be greatly appreciated.
