Hotel Porto Horizonte All Inclusive by oxoHotel

Great place. Hotel is like brad new! Close to the beach, hotel has a reserve spot where you can get palapas. Pool is great, it is like 3 pools side to side. The only downside is the area is in full construction (Aug 2025) so depending on timing there is debris in the street and construction stuff/noise.

I don’t know who’s leaving positive reviews for this place, but it is not your conventional Hotel. It’s more apartment living than anything and it’s shows by where the elevators are to access the rooms. They are in a back hallway in the garage area. The only elevator in the front lobby is to the second floor pool, which doesn’t have a bar or a restaurant . This is considered a hotel on google to fill rooms. I’m disappointed this was on Booking.com or Hotels.com.

Do not stay here. Honestly. I’m not fussy - but I was really looking forward to having a much deserved break. Unfortunately, there is brown construction dust blowing into all of the south-facing balconies and rooms. I developed respiratory symptoms and a sore throat after just one day, and was coughing up muck. Absolutely unacceptable they allow this hotel to remain open. Make sure you do not use Caribbean Rentals Santa Marta.
