Hotel Portobello Resort & Safari

Excellent Resort! Rooms are comfortable, clean with balcony and a wonderful view - all of them with sea view. Food is amazing, being desserts the highlight. Service is great, all staff is friendly, polite and willing to serve well. Leisure options include swimming pool, beach tennis courts, cycling, tennis courts, sauna, bowling among others like Safari and boat tours. Kids recreation staff is available within a large area inside the hotel. Simply amazing!

The most amazing space for kids. We were there in September and it was a bit cold. Kids space was great, lots to do. The safari is an extra fee per person, there were no other interested people when we wanted to go which was great because we got a private tour. This was amazing! I didn’t think we were going to see zebras in Rio. Kids got to pet wild boar, turtles, ostrich, and camel. Food was good, lots of options, every night was a different theme. Would definitely come back.

Great service. Excellent accomodations. The room at the beach is just so ridiculously gorgeous that left me speechless. Unfortunately the last time I was there felt like they got a new management team that implemented cutting cost measurements that had a real impact in the quality of the food and service.
