Hotel Post Karlon

Imagine going on holidays with your whole family or a bunch of friends in the 80s. Winter skiing or summer hiking. You arrive to a crowded village, surrounded by curious faces. You will be staying in a cozy hotel with spacious rooms. In your room on the 1st floor, there’s a bathtub, a big comfy bed, a wooden radio, a terrace and many closets to unpack your belongings for the whole, long stay. You wake up every morning looking at the mountains and go downstairs for a delicious breakfast. LIFE IS GOOD. It’s 2021 and Hotel Post Karlon is still a truly fantastic venue, now with modern TVs instead of build-in-bed-radios. The village is very peaceful and views are picturesque. A very nostalgic experience, friendly people and absolutely amazing food.

Review from an American. Rooms were decent for Europe. Nice that the building is so historical and sleeps fine. No A/C as to be expected. Where they shine is their hospitality! I can't say enough about the friendliness and concern for me. Food in the resturaunt was fabulous!

Very restful, quite and comfortable room with good beds and clean. Very old interior with lovely wood everywhere. They have small rooms of which I stayed in that are dated but still tidy but also more modern rooms so you can go budget or splash out and get a room with a jacuzzi. Also have sauna and outdoor swimming pool for summer.
