My husband and I stayed here for a week at the end of the summer season. We cannot fault any part of the hotel. Fantastic central location, by all the lifts as well as the busy and train station. The team are so friendly and polite, such a warm welcome every time you enter the hotel or restaurant. The food was incredible!! Deserves 6⭐️ at least. You’d do well to find better food elsewhere. After the buffet salad for the first course, every evening a different menu, the most amazing soups and then a main, each as tasty and well prepared as the previous. The facilities are fabulous, both the inside spa and the outside pool. Everywhere was spotless. Thank you to the whole team.
We loved our stay at Hotel Post. We were a group that stayed for 7 nights, as part of the St Anton Marathon event, and we were made very welcome. The rooms were very comfortable, the staff were attentive, and the food was amazing. The hotel is quiet and a good night sleep guaranteed, and yet it is perfectly situated in the centre of town with easy access to all the main sites, shops, and gondolas. A special mention for Nina in the front office, who was very professional and always helpful. Thank you Nina!
Overall our stay was good. We stayed for 6 nights. Positives: The outdoor pool area is amazing, spotless, robes are lovely and extra towels are available. The rooms and hotel in general are super clean, cleaning staff are amazing. Excellent location but the town is small anyway. Really comfortable, slept very well. Breakfast is really good. Negatives: Children are allowed in the spa/saunas - I rang reception to complain and I was told that's OK as along as the child is accompanied by an adult - no apology, no offer to assit. I found this very unusual, I travel a lot and spa areas are usually adults only. The children in the sauna, whilst accompanied by their dad, were screaming and very loud, not conducive to relaxation in the sauna. The hotel in general and our room was a bit tired and dated - early 2000s aesthetic. The breakfast/dinner room is humongous and feels like a cafeteria - not cosey Alpine vibes. The minibar fridges are empty in the rooms. There is a notice on the fridge saying they will fill the fridge before 8pm if you let them know. One night after a long day of hiking we fancied having a beer at 8.30 in our room, my partner rang reception and he was told he'd have to go downstairs and order the drinks from the bar himself and bring them back up - no problem. He went down, got the beers asked if they had any snacks (crisps/ nuts or the like) he was told "no, only in the winter" - This isn't a 4 star experience, why no snacks?/ Properly stocked minibar with snacks? No tea/coffee making facilities in the room either. Kids running around playing in communal areas/lounge/ lift in the late evening, great if you've got children and are looking for a family friendly hotel but again not what you'd expect from 'luxury' 4 star hotel.
