Hotel Potrero De Los Funes

This hotel is paradise, the views, foods and services are outstanding. Restaurant and bar are excellent and the service 👌 is perfect. Did I mention the view WOW. Definitely recommend for rest and relaxation 😌 very clean rooms and housekeeping is accommodating. Plenty of covered parking and very secure for us older folks. Buffet breakfast is yummy with lots of fruits, pastries 🍰 and omelet to choose. Service is excellent 👌.

Bizarre casino on a giant water feature. This is truly an awesome spot, as in the old meaning, there is some awe here. San Luis is a tiny little town not too far from the middle of nowhere, and suddenly there is this dam with a giant water spout off to one side, fronted by a several storey hotel. At it’s base are a few floating platforms all containing various shapes and sizes of swimming pools, a pedalo parkade, another structure and a line of squat bungalows out into the water. Truly odd. My room faced out onto this tableau, but interestingly, the balcony was just a small room with a sliding window. You would think that opening this up and putting a couple of chairs out there would be both cheaper and far more appealing. That said,the staff were wonderful, the breakfast excellent and the restaurant perfectly adequate, albeit not brilliant. I poked my head into the casino and it looked to be one of those slot machine graveyards where miserable people go to spend their kids education funds. Nothing but a tax on idiots who can’t do mathematics.

We live in the USA and a 4 stars hotel there is a paradise. In here when you go to the pool you need a voucher to get one old mini towel, the massages are terrible, the premium suit is an old room with a bathroom that have double sinks toddler height. The restaurant and the service is very nice. The hotel needs a renovation asap.
