Hotel Premier & Suites Premier Resort

I stayed at Premier & Suites in January 2025. The hotel is clean and well-maintained, with partially renovated rooms that provide a comfortable environment. The breakfast service was very good, and I want to give a special mention to the maître d’hôtel, who was exceptionally kind, smiling, and attentive to guests’ needs. However, for a 5-star hotel with room prices exceeding €300 during the trade show period, there were some disappointing aspects. Complimentary water was not provided in the room, and no welcome amenities, such as fruits or pastries, were offered upon arrival. Unfortunately, there was no hot water for the shower in the morning. I called reception at 5:00 AM to report the issue, but no one answered. The safe in the room is inconveniently located on the floor, making it difficult to use. During our stay, dinner was served in a partner hotel nearby, and the buffet was excellent. While I initially considered giving a 2-star rating, the professionalism and warmth of the maître d’hôtel prompted me to add an extra star.

On arrival we were given the wrong room. We booked for an executive sea view room. The hotel manager was not available or the receptionist, a kind assistant did his best to help. It was a late arrival and we just wanted to rest but it took an hour to set into a room to only find out the aircon wasn’t working properly. It got fixed in the end. We were kindly offered water for the inconvenience and was promised a free room service for breakfast. In the morning when we was checking out, the receptionist told us we need to pay for the water. Tried to tell her it was complimentary but she insisted we pay. (32 euros). Another major issue was the bathroom. There are no showers, only a high bath with jets. The bath was soo high, I needed help to get in incase i slipped. When you put the water on, there are no clear signs which is hot or not, hot water was sprayed on me which almost burnt me. You can not get in the bath if you are short or have a bad leg. The bath needs steps to get in. I had to ask my partner to help me get out of the bath. I’m fairly young and I would be very worried for anyone older or someone with a bad leg etc. How the hotel owner ignores this accident trap is beyond me. In addition, the hotel needs to improve on their staffs English language. I asked for a tooth brush, I got a comb, I asked for cup, I got cotton wool. The beds were very uncomfortable and no complimentary water in the rooms. We did not enjoy our stay and definitely won’t be returning. I actually wasn’t going to write a review but the lady at reception was rude. Really needs to be more understanding and not argue with guests over water after all the inconvenience. The hotel owner really should care more about this guests. Change the bathrooms!

Travel Agents Be aware that Hotel Premier & Suites promises in writing a commision when you book your clients and then they do not pay. They do not deliver what they promise in terms of commission for travel agencies who send their valued clients to them.
