Hotel President Budapest Affiliated by Meliá

Beautiful hotel! Staff are very nice and accommodating. Location is perfect as it sits right next to major sightseeing locations and restaurant streets. Great value for money and will be staying here if I return to budapest.

Excellent central location, you can walk to all the city attractions easily, restaurant streets just 5 minutes walk. Breakfast selection is very good. Roof top bar run by another company, good but no shade from the sun. Stayed in new part of hotel, rooms very clean but too small.

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, it is the perfect location to sightsee as you are only a 15 minute walk away from any landmark in pest that you want to see. The room I had was single bed and a nice bathroom. As far as cleaning, it wasn’t as clean. Firstly they only change and clean your room every three days. They do make the bed and change the bins every day; but I was on my period at the time and I accidentally had spilled onto the sheet, and it wasn’t changed till two days later. Another thing is that on the website you can request room service. However they won’t deliver it to your door, in fact my request is still active when I look at requests. Also something to note they don’t stick the mini fridges. When I arrived the staff were super kind, they gave me brochures and explained some good sites to visit. However the other staff that I checked out with weren’t nice at all. Positives: What I did love about this place was the rooftop bar, where you can order drinks and food. (See below) The food was really good and I did enjoy the sunset views. The spa facilities were also really nice and they do offer massages. In conclusion If I was to visit again I wouldn’t come back. However looking at the value and location I would say this hotel is good for a couple of nights, but not for a long stay.
