We spent 5 nights at Hotel President and had a truly wonderful experience. Our room had a partial sea view, and the hotel itself is beautiful, exceptionally clean, and very well maintained. The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed — a perfect combination. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed. One very convenient feature is that you can purchase daily parking permits directly at the reception, even for multiple days — currently at €10/day. This saves a lot of hassle with parking meters around town. Breakfast was another highlight: varied, beautifully presented, generous, and of great quality. Just like many previous guests mentioned in their reviews, the breakfast really is excellent. We can only recommend Hotel President — a perfect place for a relaxing, stress-free stay in Viareggio
After a long journey, we arrived at the hotel. Unfortunately, there had been a mistake in the system, and we couldn't check into our room yet, so we had to wait until the next day. Luckily, they arranged a replacement hotel for us 600m further down the road for the night. When we could finally go to our own hotel, we were told that they had upgraded us to a room with a sea view and a balcony! The hotel itself is very beautiful, clean, and the room was spacious. Breakfast was delicious. All in all, it's a great hotel, very considerate and solution-oriented. We will definitely come back!!
Fantastic hotel, I can see why it's got great reviews. It's in a great location and the evening dinner was wonderful - great variety, really tasty and plenty of it ( no surprise with 5 courses). We stayed halfboard which made it a good deal. Breakfast was great too, usual buffet options with the addition of al la carte choices. Service was first rate and staff were very friendly. Hotel is adjacent to Viareggio's promenade and Bagno's (beach clubs). In our package we had free access to a Bagno, hotel provides beach towels too. Hotel is also a 10 min walk to the train station, so Pisa and Lucca were a short trip away. Highly recommended and we hope to return.
