Hotel Presidente

Highly recommended to stay here if you visit La Paz. Very clean and well maintained hotel. Flight landed around 3-4am, Arrived 5am at the hotel to check in. Hotel staff are very accommodating and allow me to check out 5pm.

Not a Five Star Hotel. Staff are great, room was good, clean and comfortable bed. It did what it needed to do, bit 90s / 2000s. This hotel did the job. It’s not five star, far from it. I would rate it as a 3.5 star hotel. That said, I do not mean to put off, it’s a clean cheap hotel, that’s safe and very well located for La Paz and its surrounded areas. If driving from the airport, you come straight to the hotel from the off ramp of the M-way. Staff are really supportive and helpful, the room was clean. TV service is dreadful. WiFi is sufficient but not brilliant. Breakfast does what it says on the tin. Would I stay here again, yes it’s good value for money. Would I stay here if I wanted a proper 4 or 5 star hotel, no, I’d find something more up-market.

The service at the front desk was excellent, and the location was great for a tourist. Close to museums and government buildings. I would gladly stay here again. The reception kindly helped me with changes to my reservation, transportation, and laundry. For a five-star room, I would like to see new doors, walls, windows and flooring throughout the property. The 1980’s lobby really needs a remodel. The restaurant staff was super helpful. I really appreciate the fact that breakfast was ready at 04:00. The pool was not really available for hotel guests in the afternoons: kids swimming lessons. I suppose I could have entered, but it was not comfortable to me.
