Staying at Hotel Presidente was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment you walk through the doors, the warmth and attentiveness of the staff immediately stand out—they truly go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and cared for. The rooms are a highlight in themselves—beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, blending modern touches with artistic charm that reflects the local culture. Every detail feels intentional and stylish. The beds are incredibly comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring the city. Security is present 24/7, which adds a great sense of comfort and peace of mind during your stay. The location of the hotel is unbeatable—right in the heart of downtown San José, within easy walking distance to countless restaurants, shops, museums, and other attractions. One of the true standouts of Hotel Presidente is the rooftop terrace restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, and the views over the city were just as memorable. Simple place. In middle of town. Specious bathroom. Once you pull in the parking the place is interesting. It has nice use of plants for decore. The dining room has amazing wood carving. Enjoyed the stay.
