Hotel Princesa De Eboli

This hotel offers excellent service and accommodations to their guests. Overall service was wonderful and welcoming. The concierge was very responsive on my requests prior to my arrival. The property is extremely clean and well taken care of which I really appreciated. Rooms are very very comfortable and they even offer two bedroom options for larger families. Kitchenettes in every room. For being in such a small town (Pinto) it exceeded my expectations. Thank you Hotel Princesa de Eboli for hosting us! Location is perfect if you prefer not to be in the center of Madrid. For location reference the hotel is about 20 minutes from Plaza del Sol, though easy to get to via Metro or Taxi/Uber, etc.

This hotel claims to have "Smoke free Policy" in place but the room I was staying at stunk of cigarettes. I was staying 2 nights and all this time I had the window open to let some fresh air in. Only the 2nd day the room was more "fresh" after having the window open for 24hrs... Rooms have old carpets, curtains and wallpaper, so even if they don't allow smoking now, but they did let's say 5-10 years ago, the smell stayed in the carpets, curtains etc... Claiming to be smoke free, the hotel should put more effort into getting rid of the smell and actually have everything cleaned. inside out... The staff were not so pleasant. No number for reception was displayed in the room. Restaurant didn't open until 20:30. Overall ok, but would expect more from a 4* hotel...
