We stayed here in mid March - me, my partner and our 2 daughters aged 3 and 7. A ski trip with 2 small kids in tow isn't normally my idea of a holiday (!) but the Princesa Parc Excellence made it as enjoyable as it could be, plus gave us some time to relax too. We booked the kids themed suite (not sure if that's technically what it's called) with the jungle Book ajoining room which was AMAZING - the girls loved it and it gave us all space for them to play / watch TV and us to have our own space too. They could even play outside and build snowmen on the little terrace part and they had their own jacuzzui in their bathroom! The staff were all excellent, in the spa and the restaurant and reception and bars. We mostly ate at the a la carte restaurant where the food was delicious. Top tip, we sometimes fed our kids first (during our starters) then deposited them in the kids club so we could enjoy the rest of the meal ourselves in peace! The kids club - albeit a bit small - was a great feature and our girls went for a little bit most days where they met some friends. The location to the lift is as good as you can get, and the spa was great. We never had a problem getting in with a booking. With the meals and drinks included in our package, it was pretty good value. Would thoroughly recommend the hotel and we'll be back. Thank you to everyone at the hotel.

We booked a 5-star double room, but the experience did not match the rating. The room was so small that I couldn’t even open my luggage properly. The bathroom was quite old, and adjusting the water temperature was frustrating—it was either too hot or too cold, with normal to low water pressure. On top of that, the room was cold, and we couldn’t raise the temperature as there were no temperature controls, which was very disappointing for a supposedly high-end stay. On the bright side, the mattress was comfortable, and as part of the 5-star package, all drinks were included. However, the white wine was terrible, and after just two glasses, I ended up with gastritis. Definitely not what I expected from a supposed luxury experience. The buffet was a much better option than the restaurant, which was underwhelming. The heated pool was pleasant, and the kids' play area was a nice feature. But overall, the small room, outdated facilities, lack of temperature control, and poor food and drink quality made this feel more like a 3-star hotel at best rather than the premium stay we had hoped for.

The location is breathtaking — surrounded by mountains, peaceful, and serene. The lobby is bright and full of plants, creating a great first impression. The spa was a highlight: multiple pools and saunas, totally worth the €15/hour. My husband loved it. The room was fine but had terrible lighting, especially in the bathroom — made me feel like I was in a hospital, not a hotel. Then came dinner, and it was a disaster. The food tasted old and reheated, seafood smelled off, meat was dry, veggies were bitter. My husband ended up getting sick. We spoke to the front desk, who were kind, but the manager refused a refund because “we already ate it” — though they did cancel breakfast after we insisted we wouldn’t eat there again. Sadly, the food experience was so bad I’m not sure I’d return at all.
