Hotel Prokulus Family & Wellness

With my family (children 2 and 4 years old), we spent a week in the prokulus. We all had a very nice and relaxing time. From Christine (waitress) we were well taken care of every morning and evening. The food was always of high quality and our children took the nannies (especially Maria) to their hearts. The whole owner family is always open for an short conversation and equally helpful. We were able to use the free bikes, child carriers for hiking and one of the many buggies for our exciting excursions. My wife, who never likes to vacation in the same place twice, would like to spend her next vacation at Prokulus again. That is a statement.

First of all, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a family-hotel, so be prepared for lots of small children running around, esp., in the food areas. I would have preferred that the rooms would have thicker walls -- you can hear children throughout the whole day. Food was also great (which I would assume, given the price) but the selection a bit repetitive -- this is not a problem if you stay for 3-4 days, but might be noticeable when you stay for a full weak. I'm ranking this four stars as I believe that most people looking at this will be searching for a baby-friendly family-hotel; I for myself might be searching for something either more quiet or more active the next time.
