Hotel Punta Negra

The room was clean and the staff was very kind. But the facilities where not all what we expected: the hotel looked more like a hospital than a hotel, not at all cozy. The room had a bit of odor and the beach as well. Quality vs price not justified.

Love this place. It’s everything I want from a holiday. The staff are fantastic, the chilled, quiet atmosphere is so relaxing and the views/beach are fantastic. The seaweed does smell a bit, but you get used to It.

Superb location with lovely beach. 14 mins drive out of beautiful Alghero. Staff are delightful and always helpful. Food was reasonably priced and was well-prepared. Tables on terrace overlooking the sea and comfortable lounge areas. Rooms are dull and lack basic amenities in the smaller rooms. No tea/coffee facilities (we had those at the last hotel which was a third of the price!) and the small bathroom had no shelves to put anything on and neither did the shower. The communal corridors were clinical and more like a hospital! Therefore, although the hotel has much to offer, it is not worth €250 per night b and b without a sea view. There’s no lift, so think carefully if stairs are a problem.
