Hotel PUR Quebec a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

We found the staff at this hotel to be very friendly and helpful. There is also a secure underground parking garage, which we made use of. The rooms are spacious and quiet. The location is good, although it's a bit of a walk to the old town. However, there's a hop-on hop-off bus stop just a few meters from the hotel.

The hotel was tidy when arriving, has refreshing water and pool table at the lobby, a 24 hours gym, sauna and an ice machine. They have small and large towels and hair dryer (which is not every hotel provide) they have also a coffee machine The only thing that I wished they have is slippers for the washroom All in all, had an amazing experience with family in it. It was nearby all the places we visited

Our stay at Hotel PUR was okay, but there were definitely a few things that could have been better. The room was decent, but the toilet had very little flushing power and the shower looked outdated. While the staff were friendly, there didn’t seem to be much warmth or effort to make guests feel especially welcome or at home. It felt more transactional than hospitable. On the positive side, the location is quite good, especially for the price—close to Old Quebec and within walking distance of several restaurants and shops. However, it’s important to note that the street outside the hotel has a visible presence of homeless and mentally ill individuals, which could be concerning for families, especially if you’re traveling with young children. Overall, good value for location, but don’t expect a warm or elevated experience.
