Hotel Raffaello

Another great find in the vastness of Milan! I booked this as it was close to the Autostrade and with easy access to the centre of Milan by tram. We arrived at 9:30am straight from the airport, thinking we would just book the parking for the car and head into the centre for the day. My son and partner however were keen to shower first after a 24 plane trip from Australia, although I told him there was no way we could check into our rooms so early! But…the front reception was so professionally accomodating and allowed us to check in on arrival! My son and his partner were so happy which meant I was so happy!!!! With easy access to everything, plus the professionalism of the staff, I would definitely rebook this hotel in the future!

Overall, it’s a pretty nice hotel. The rooms are very nice and the bathrooms have a lot of room. The breakfast is large and pretty good… the bacon is very salty though. There’s free water in the lobby which is very refreshing and tasty! The only reason I gave it a 4 star is because they do have laundry, however it’s not like American Hotel Service… instead it’s like $3 a sock, $5 a shirt, $3 per shorts… just crazy prices. There is a nice laundry mat near by which is good! I liked this hotel and the location of where it is!

I came over for the Linkin Park concert and chose this hotel for the location to the venue. Whilst it is a little way outside the centre of Milan, it is well served by the public transport. I was pleasantly surprised, the room was fresh and clean. The staff were attentive and friendly, nothing was a chore. I asked for complimentary water and it was supplied. The breakfast is what you would expect from a hotel, but there was plenty of choice and it made for a great start to the day. Thank you to you and your staff for.a really great stay and I will be looking to stay again if I come back to Milan.
