Hotel Ramo Saranda

Hotel Ramo bar and restaurant is clean beautifully decorated and has a very cool atmosphere. The owner is incredibly welcoming and friendly. He sat down with a beer for us and imparted some very generous wisdom. Such a friendly warm, welcome, amazing food, cold beer and very Biker friendly as well. The hotel rooms have large windows overlooking the sea with balconies as well. The location is absolutely prime in the heart of the boardwalk on the Saranda Beach. Do not hesitate come here immediately to dine or to stay or both! I would give them 100 stars if I could!

A bit disappointed after reading the reviews and decided to spend a few nights there. Had the room with premium view on the sea but this room was not as big as I thought , furniture are taking too much place and ruining a bit the experience, fortunately there is this great balcony you can enjoy to admire sunrises on the bay. A couple of things didn't make the stay fully appreciated: shower malfunctions, room not isolated (sound and heat despite A/C) and the neighborhood is clearly very noisy at night, pretty basic breakfast (which is a shame cause the restaurant is good especially at dinner time). On the positive, bed was really comfy, staff is super friendly and location is great right on the walking street along the port but for that price I think I could have got better just a few meters away. Saranda is definitely a watch and with modern and equipped hotels flourishing around, I think there will be more options in the future.

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Lunch at the restaurant was delicious and they provided welcome drinks and discounts on drinks later in the evening. The room was small and not pictured on the website. It was fine space for sleeping but just not for our honeymoon. There were stains on the floors and walls that we tried to clean. The shower and bathroom were dirty upon check in and there was no warm water for showers in the evening. Additionally we went downstairs for breakfast one morning and one of the staff was yelling at the kitchen staff saying how they don’t know how to do anything and to go home and then we could hear a plate smash. We promptly left and did not try to order breakfast. We ended up checking out after 1 night though we had booked 3. We did not try to get a refund but told them we needed more space. Also currently there’s construction going on next door so it’s pretty loud at the moment! In general the small one way roads it’s on the corner on seemed very busy (lots of cars getting stuck/wrong way)
