The room was an impeccable blend of comfort and sophistication. Details matter here, and they are everywhere: a Dyson hairdryer, a Bang & Olufsen TV with flawless sound, a sleek steamer for freshening clothes, and a fully stocked Nespresso area with more coffee capsules than I could ever need. The bed was not only cloud-like but fully adjustable to your personal comfort—something I didn’t know I needed until I had it. Thoughtful welcome gifts and subtle touches throughout the room reminded me constantly that I was in a place that values elevated standards. The location? As good as it gets—central, yet somehow peaceful and quiet. A rare and perfect combination. The rooftop is stunning, a calm oasis with gorgeous views, perfect for unwinding at any time of day. The entire property is immaculate and exudes calm sophistication. This hotel isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a place to feel completely cared for. I would return in a heartbeat.

Beautiful Stay in the Heart of Rome with a Few Minor Hiccups Bio Hotel Raphael is beautifully located—just steps from Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, and many great restaurants. The rooftop terrace, with its Michelin-starred Mater Terrae restaurant, offers exquisite vegetarian cuisine and stunning city views. The interior is stylish and artful, creating a refined, welcoming atmosphere. Our room was well-appointed with a luxurious bathroom (dual vanities, bathtub, two rain showers), remote-controlled blinds, and a comfortable sofa. We were warmly welcomed with sparkling wine and canapés, and a complimentary bottle of red wine and cake in the room was a lovely touch. Breakfast was excellent, with a generous buffet and à la carte options. However, housekeeping was inconsistent—on our second day, our room was only partially cleaned, and it took several follow-ups to have it properly serviced. More concerning, the bathroom in our parents’ room (216) had sharp, chipped tiles that posed a safety risk. Also, we weren’t informed about the city tax and were caught off guard when it appeared on the final bill. Overall, a memorable stay with many highlights, but some service and safety issues need attention.

I only came for rooftop early evening/sunset cocktails. The local was recommended by ChatGPT. It was an excellent choice. The hotel is located in a quiet area. There was only one other table occupied at the time. I did think that the prices were higher than they needed to be and it appeared that there was barely any alcohol in my Basil Smash cocktail but I received several appetizers and the view and ambiance made up for it. Be sure to watch out for the birds conditioned to try to snatch your food. I had to protect mine closely.
