Hotel Ratschingserhof

We stayed at Hotel Ratschingerhof for four nights and everything was absolutely perfect. The breakfast was delicious, the pool and spa area were relaxing and well-maintained, and the dinners were exceptional. The location is beautiful and ideal for a peaceful escape. We couldn’t have asked for more – a truly flawless stay. Highly recommended!

Incredible hotel, the staff and owners are amazing. We have been all over and this is one of our favorite stays. The rooms are lovely and super clean, the spa is gorgeous and well taken care of. The food is delightful and you feel like home here! We will be back.

From the good ones: - renovation in the public area is nicely done - a very big wellness area including salt pool, multiple sauna, rooftop Jacuzzi. A rarity in a small family establishment - food overall used very high quality local products. Dinner had a huge salad/appetizer bar which has many meat and seafood options, although seafood is not fresh, it's rare to have compare to other similar 4* hotels in the area. obviously they thrive to be fine dining. I would give 4.2 out of 5 for dinner and breakfast. I liked their presentation at the buffet. - service is good in the area, can't compare with south of Italy but we know here is not typical Italy, they gave us a homemade bread upon check out which is the best bread we had in a while. Area of improvement: - it seems like the room we had was the most basic and didn't have innovation. Bathroom is very old style, mattress was not comfortable, it makes sound when you sit on it, obviously pretty old. - no room amenity, even the 2 glasses provided were different style and shape. Shampoo/body wash was not great. - overall the room was more like 3 star.
