Hotel Real Oeiras

Wow, its a quite & peaceful place to stay. Average far from central city. So if you Don't have any task to that area, than you can choose in city area. But that hotel place was too good.

It was very dirty, i've never seen anything like this before. Even though the room service changed the bedsheets and towels every day, we saw different stains on either the bedsheets or the towels that clearly weren't from us. The stains on the towels and bedsheets included: Poop, Blood and other unexplained human liquids. On our last day, we found a poop stain on a freshly folded hand towel which just felt like a personal attack at that point. We tipped frequently, were always kind to the staff and barely ever complained unless it was necessary to change our bedsheets. But yesterday sent us over the edge, enough is enough. We paid almost 2000 Euros for a 4 star hotel with a horrible location (if you don't have a car, don't come), a pool that was extremely cold even in 34C weather and bad hygiene. Our expectations weren't high, the least we expected for a 4 star hotel was that it was clean. Other problems with the hotel include: - Cracks on the roof - Brown Tap water - Dirty, barely functioning fitness studio

Shower and TV were broken and very outdated. It was as if we walked into a 1970s motel with clean sheets. Aside from the sheets everything was old, dingy, dark and broken. They also gave us a hard time for having too many kids (we have three) and wanted us to book two rooms and split up, despite reserving the deluxe suite. Beds were very small, especially the “sofa bed” which barely fit one child, nevermind an adult.
