We booked our stay through Airbnb and didn't know the name of the place, so it took us a while to find it. But when we did, the first thing that you see is the amazing view of the coast! Beautiful location, though you'll have to take the car to go do/see something (besides the view). The hotel is divided over several cottages, where you can park your car next to. Our rental car had some trouble getting up the steep roads, but we made it. Our cottage was simple, but good enough for one night stay. Though we didn't have outdoor furniture, like the other cottages, and the shower head could not be hang. And the shower door was damaged (I guess) so they fixed that by having a shower curtain. Not the best solution, but it works... We had a tasteful dinner at the until restaurant, for a fair price. They served a day menu, 4 course for only €20 and a bottle of wine for only €5.
The hotel is quite confortable, has big and cosy rooms and a beautiful pool. The breakfast not contain various meals. The most inconvinient is that is 4 km far from the city. In the city there are very few things to do (2 markets and few restaurants)
Great place to stay if visiting this part of Sicily. The self catering cottage is a good option and includes a small barbeque.
