Hotel Regina

This review for any North American pilgrims. The Air Conditioning system WORKS in the summer ! I can come out to the sanctuary to pray in the 40 Celsius heat and cool off in my hotel room.

We flew halfway across the world, only to be greeted by a room overwhelmed with the smell of ammonia. At first, we thought it might be from cleaning, so we left the doors and windows open for a while. After our meal, we returned to the room, but the smell hadn’t faded at all. We went to reception and were given a bottle of disinfectant, which did nothing to help. We requested a room change, but none were available. No other assistance was given at this point. We spent the whole night with the window wide open, but the ammonia smell lingered throughout the room, even on the pillows. The next day, after we raised our concerns again, they finally came to check the room and then discovered the issue/smell was from the fridge. Can't imagine what would happen to us if we left the windows closed overnight. Try to take any complains from your guest seriously next time.
