This hotel is an excellent choice and truly the gem of Isola Rossa! It is exceptionally well-organized, spotlessly clean, and perched on a beautiful cliff where you can enjoy breathtaking sunsets every evening. The restaurant offers delicious and varied cuisine. But the real highlight is the staff — incredibly friendly, service-oriented, and genuinely dedicated to making your stay unforgettable. Don’t miss the spa for a moment of pure relaxation. Take full advantage of the pool and explore the nearby beaches, especially La Marinedda — it’s absolutely stunning! You’re guaranteed to have a wonderful time!
We had a great stay! The staff were very nice and attentive, the atmosphere was lovely, and we enjoyed the nice live bands in the evenings. It’s a beautiful spot, and the restaurants offered good gluten-free and lactose-free options too. Would happily come back!
A Relaxing Stay with Stunning Views, but Some Drawbacks We had a relaxing stay, made especially enjoyable by the fantastic pool area—which was almost always empty, offering a peaceful retreat. The pool is filled with untreated seawater, so it’s quite salty but refreshing. Positioned on an exposed hillside, it offers beautiful views, but due to frequent winds, the umbrellas are often closed, which can be a downside during sunny days. The staff were very attentive and helpful throughout our stay, adding a personal touch to the experience. There’s direct access to the sea via a small, rocky beach—water shoes are essential, but thankfully provided free of charge at the pool. However, the rooms are quite run-down and definitely in need of upgrades. We noticed issues like mold and non-working sockets. Be sure to bring plug adapters, as they’re necessary. Average spa. Excellent diving opportunities nearby. Breakfast was underwhelming. Based on that, we chose not to try the buffet dinner. However, the rooftop terrace restaurant was a pleasant surprise—great ambiance and a much better food experience. The on-site snack bar offers good drinks and light bites, which were perfect during the day. A car is absolutely necessary, as Isola Rossa is a very small village with minimal public transport. In summary: a peaceful setting with lovely views, excellent staff, and great outdoor spaces—but let down by tired rooms and average breakfast. Ideal for those seeking quiet relaxation, as long as expectations for accommodation are managed.
